We have set dates for the rest of the series.

Saturday February 7th.

Saturday March 7th.

Series championship Saturday April 4th.

I didn't get as many shots as i did the first show. My appologies if i left anyones trucks out, The only time i really had to shoot anything was freestyle, got afew good racing shots. I'll get some more at the next race.

nice shots ! its been a long time since i had a clod, how does the axles hold up to that abuse now with the hop ups that are out there ?

i have never owned a clod what type of racing chassis should i be looking for and what am i going too have to do to the axels to get them ready for racing also , tires ,foams, motors (brushed) , do i need rear steering? any help would greatly be appreciated this type of racing looks like fun , i was watching the videos on youtube looks like everone is having fun thanks rich

There are a number of different chassis available that all perform about the same. Once you have one of them, you'll see that most of the differences come down to the driver. Our Terminator chassis happen to be on sale now though...

I'd just make sure your axles have metal shielded bearings in them, but you don't really need anything else. I personally like a locked rear differential, but that's a matter of preference as well. Some amount of rear steering can help on really tight tracks, but will make your truck a handful if you're just getting used to it. I'd start with locked rear steering, then add it later if you think you need it.

Stock tires will work fine, and can be shaved down for better traction if needed. For motors, a good 17T motor will give you a good compromise between speed and torque. I don't know what rules are being run at these events, but you may end up being outpowered if all the Clods are in the same class. As you get used to the truck, you'll see where others may be beating you.
