Opie has stepped up to help contribute to this event as well as Bad to the Bone Racing. Thank you to Nick and to Matt and his parents as well. The support always helps make these events even better.

Bradenville is a pretty small town. it is at the old mushroom farm. I'll see if I can post my "map" for everyone

Here's the famous "map" I spoke of LOL

I know this map is extremely basic, but it shows exactly the way it is. You'll enter Bradenville on RT 982 and in the center of town, either drive straight onto High St or have to turn left onto it depending which direction you're coming from.

I don't remember the street address, maybe someone else who remembers it can post it up.

I should be there, I'm coming from the Canton Ohio area maybe I get the prize for furthest drive? I've been to the track once before and its nice and well run.

I'll be bringing my Evader ST to race in the conversion class. Hoping to not to be the slowest guy out there this time.

You won't have to worry about that. The slowest vehicle award already has my name on it.

Wow. I just looked on mapquest. 9 1/2 hours of driving time for me to drive up there. Time to go buy myself a navigation system.

and you were easily beat by the guy who came from florida to do one run on the trials course.

i think nick easily takes the victory for most miles traveled overall - all those trips from illinois deserves an award of some sort.

Very nice! I'll just have my trusty Evader but with a few improvements: Mamba 5700, Airtronics 2.4ghz, 7 cell Nimh's. (Fast truck, slow driver ) Also got some Masher 2000s so I can run in the conversion class.

They should have a prize for mileage, 10 hours+ to race is dedicated!

Gotta love the Castle Mamba's. I have some of them myself and they are awesome. I have a Mamba 4600 in my Rustler and it is wicked fast.

Nick, that's awesome, I hope it works out for you to make it. Now that you're teasing us with two "squirrels", you really better be there LOL!!!!!

I guess I should clarify. I have a Sidewinder with the 5700. I guess they don't call the motors "Mambas". Its still very nice! Forgive me I've been out of the sport for awhile and am still getting up to speed on all the new vehicles and technology (my last truck was a Traxxas Sledgehammer bought new).

That's still an exceptionally good system. Lot's-o-power for sure.

!!Track tip for all the first time racers to this event:
---Gear low.

The tracks we run are almost always tight......a lot of turns, some being 180 degree turns. Acceleration is key and by gearing low, it prevents damage to your motor(s). It's racing 101, but I'd rather help now in prevent someone from buring their gear up then see it actually occurr when it might have been prevented.

That's great to hear Josh! If Mo checks in here, he might have some ideas for you on what to do in Pittsburgh since he lives there.

Just so you know too........they have racing at the track the event is at on Friday nights so if you're interested in some extra racing, you have that as an option. Typically, there's a bunch of us there Friday night for the main event so you could come in and get the feel for things ahead of time and meet people and have some fun the night before.
