We're proud to introduce the 1st 1:10th scale RTR monster truck ever to hit the market!

The general specs:

- 1:10th scale RTR electric monster truck
- Replica aluminum "Tube" frame (only production one on the market)
- 4 Wheel Drive with optional 4 Wheel Steering
- Fully adjustable 4-link suspension
- 12-1/2" wheelbase
- 5-7/8"h x 3-1/4"w tires
- Solid axles
- Central motor/transmission
- Designed to accept all other standard 1:10th scale bodies
- Full line of aftermarket hop-ups to follow

This kit is expected to hit the shelves in September of this year and retail prices will be announced in August. We're also working with a few teams and hope to be able to have officially licensed replica bodies available as well!

Here are a couple of teaser shots:

Looks great I cant wait to see the full production version. That truck looks like it has a lot of potential.

I can already picture it with clod wheels

Oh my Brett, you're killing me. I already have two Stallions, and this is tempting Are those custom axles? How will I sneak it past the wife

I am just sooooooo glad that there is still an aftermarket company out there dedicated to solid-axle MONSTER trucks. You sir, are a national treasure.

Looks good. I hope it is easy to put Clod rims on it or if not that, at least have the rim/tire size be close to Clod sized. Is the battery location the final design too? Looks a little high for us racing guys.

Is the tranny an all new design or is it out of another already on the market truck?

mike - i believe the truck is set up and scaled for maxx-sized tire/rim combos - clod tires would probably throw off the scale a little bit.

brett - please pm me with any details you can share (approx. cost, if price is good i'll try to get a few to sell at the store, etc)

Looks great!

I have a question tho.. with as many race inspired chassis you offer, why did you decide on such a high mounted batt? Realism?

just curious.. awesome concept..

Looks great Brett.

I'm also curious about the axles and tranny. What's the gearing in the tranny and the axles? I'd really like to see a low gear reduction tranny and a large gear reduction in the axles to limit torque twist.

Also kinda concerned about the battery placement but I realize this is for production. Maybe an option could be behind the tranny, above the top links, perpendicular to the frame? Or maybe turn the tranny around and do that?

This truck is aimed at bringing new people into the hobby, much the same way other RTR kits do. Whenever we have our modified Clod replicas on display, I get asked 100s of times how much one of those trucks cost. As many of us know, that answer is often shocking (even to ourselves!).

The truck uses custom Maxx sized wheels and tires, but has a 12mm hex so putting Clod wheels on it shouldn't be an issue. I chose Maxx sizes to open the truck up to the different aftermarket tire choices the Maxx already has. The solid axles and transmission are also new for this kit.

The battery placement was done to maintain the look of the chassis without having a battery stuck through the side of it. This tradeoff isn't optimal for racing, and there will likely be an aftermarket "race" chassis available for it down the road. It will just lose some of the replica look.

While final pricing or distribution hasn't been determined yet, expect this kit to retail somewhere around the "other" solid axle RTR kits...

Simply AWESOME!!

I don't care at all about whether this thing could compete with modded clods that have excess of $500 into them. I like the idea that this truck could open up the hobby that we love to more people. Brett, you are tapping into a nearly untouched market and I wish you the best of luck with this.

this truck looks like a dream come true I hope to be able to purchase one. I don't care what size motor. I just plan on playing around in the living room with it. I just hope its easy to take apart and repair.

Thanks for the compliments, and that untapped market is exactly the reason we took the approach we did with the design and targeted pricing.

As far as a motor, expect to see the equivilent of a 19-21T 540 sized motor and ESC combo included. The battery trays are laid out to accept just about any type of battery, and 7 cell hump packs are a direct fit.

Maintenance should also be fairly easy as most of the components are accessible through either the top or front of the chassis.
